Edward Albee's most famous play,
Who's Afraid of Vriginia Woolf?, opened on March 20 at the Longacre Theatre. The new production features a quartet of talented performers--Kathleen Turner, Bill Irwin, David Harbour and Mireille Enos--under the direction of Anthony Page. The drama depicts the alcohol-fueled verbal sparring of a bitter couple and a pair of newlyweds they have over in the wee hours of the morning. The masterpiece hasn't been seen on the Broadway stage since 1976, and it was clear at the packed opening night party at Bond 45 that audiences are excited about its return.
