Story

Allie and Noah, both from different worlds, share a lifetime of love despite the forces that threaten to pull them apart. With a book that has sold millions of copies worldwide and a film that’s one of the highest-grossing romantic dramas of all time, the musical adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’s The Notebook comes to Broadway following a critically acclaimed world premiere engagement at Chicago Shakespeare Theater in the fall of 2022.

Know Before You Go

"This is a wonderful enactment of the book titled The Notebook. So well performed so creatively constructed, and an ending that will remain inside your head for sometime after the show. "

"Saw it 4 times this year, including the final performance on Dec. 15 which, in my opinion, was the best of the entire season. Wow! Actors and audience were showing their emotions in such a spectacular way. Actors emptied their tanks as there was no tomorrow. They just gave it all in this performance and made it a very special one to remember forever. They got emotional at the end and the audience acknowledged with the loudest and longest applause possible. They all deserved it, such amazing actors. Special recognition to younger Noah and Allie, (Benji and Anna) who were both outstanding in their performances and were the heart of the story. So talented. Wish them the best in their young careers. Hope to see them soon in other Broadway venues. Congrats to all involved in the production as The Notebook was definitely the best play on Broadway in 2024. Thank you all! "
