Veronica Hart & Ron Jeremy Relive a Sex Scandal
In 1972, Queens hairdresser Gerard Damiano created Deep Throat, a low-budget porn film that ended up grossing more than $600 million. David Bertolino’s new play Deep Throat Sex Scandal details the controversy surrounding the film at Hollywood’s Zephyr Theatre, starring real-life adult film headliners Veronica Hart, Herschel Savage and a rotating cast including Ron Jeremy and Amber Lynn. The sexcapades begin January 24!

Kendra Kassebaum & Joe Cassidy Seek a Normal Life
The Goodman family knows the way to San Jose: Broadway alums Kendra Kassebaum (Wicked) and Joe Cassidy (Catch Me If You Can) star as bipolar mom Diana and her overwhelmed husband Dan in Next to Normal at the San Jose Repertory Theatre through February 10. Cassidy (who starred in early incarnations of the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical) and Kassebaum reprise their roles in the show after starring in the Arizona Theatre Company production last October.

Robert Petkoff & Tony Sheldon Live Like Kings in Camelot
Pack up your sword and head to Houston’s Theatre Under the Stars to see the legend of King Arthur come alive in Lerner and Loewe’s majestic musical Camelot at the Hobby Center, through February 3. Featuring Robert Petkoff (Anything Goes) as King Arthur, Tony nominee Tony Sheldon (Priscilla Queen of the Desert) as King Pellinore and Margaret Loesser Robinson as Guenevere, it’s an evening chock full of jousts, true love and Broadway melodies.

Tony-Winning Composer Mark Hollmann Seaches for Bigfoot
A musical comedy about Bigfoot? Sign us up! Urinetown composer Mark Hollmann is bringing the legend of the mysterious beast to the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts. Bigfoot & Other Lost Souls tells the story of Bernie Bernstein (played by Alaskan actress Rachel Landon), who encounters a cast of wacky characters while writing a documentary about—you guessed it—Bigfoot. The hunt for the elusive Sasquatch starts on January 25.

Jennifer Barnhart Fights to the Death in Sci-Fi Macbeth
Something wicked this way comes on January 25. Puppeteer and Avenue Q alum Jennifer Barnhart will channel her inner Katniss in the Alabama Shakespeare Festival mounting of Macbeth. In a post-apocalyptic production inspired by The Hunger Games, Revolution and Mad Max, the reimagined Shakespeare classic stars Barnhart as Lady M and Ian Bedford (Law & Order: SVU) in the title role. You’ve never seen the Scottish play like this before!
