About The Book of Mormon

The Book of Mormon follows two young missionaries who are sent to Uganda to try to convert citizens to the Mormon religion. One missionary, Elder Price, is an enthusiastic go-getter with a strong dedication to his faith, while his partner, Elder Cunningham, is a socially awkward but well meaning nerd whose tendency to embroider the truth soon lands him in trouble. Upon their arrival in Africa, Elders Price and Cunningham learn that in a society plagued by AIDS, poverty and violence, a successful mission may not be as easy as they expected.

Funny and clevet musical
"The Book of Mormon is a wildly funny and clever musical that mixes sharp satire with catchy songs. It’s bold and surprisingly heartwarming — a show that makes you laugh and think at the same time. "

Ding Dong!
"Incredible performance—ashamedly, despite my love of musicals, this was my first time seeing a live performance, and I was blown away! My husband and I enjoyed the show, laughed hysterically, and were just in awe of the talent. While I would not recommend this particular show for young kids, I absolutely recommend it for everyone else! "

What a show!
"This show isn’t for kids but for adults it’s a can’t miss. The satire is hilarious, actors and actresses were phenomenal. The singing and dancing was top notch and the show story is both funny and fantastic, unless of course you are a Mormon."

Modern adult musical
"This musical had it all for me. Singing memorable tunes, terrific dancing (who knew there’d even be tap-dancing?), knee-slapping comedy, fast paced storytelling, and perfect characters. The show even educated the audience about the Mormon church, while being a parody. I laughed so hard I cried. "

Comic Genius

Hilarious!
"I've never smiled so big or laughed so much in a show. My 17 year old and 20 year old daughters loved it as well. Language and content is likely not appropriate for children too young."

Didn’t know what to expect and then I found myself laughing so hard
"This show was very entertaining and I was pleasantly surprised by my non stop laughter. I recommend this show for adults but not for children due to the cursing and the sexual suggestions. There’s nothing truly like a live broadway show!!!"

Very funny
"I didn’t know anything about the Book of Morman before I saw the play and I’m glad. The show was very funny, irreverent and enjoyable. The cast was superb. Each member played their hearts out with enthusiasm. Go see this show if you want to leave with a big smile on your."

Intelligent and Hysterical
"This play is brilliant. It won nine Tony Awards for a reason. Trey Parker and Matt Stone shine through every lyric and act in this beautifully written tale of a deeper story about America’s obsession with religious chaos. Is it for children? Probably not because I don’t think they would fully appreciate the humor. I highly recommend seeing it at least once. You won’t regret it. "
