Depressing history
"The dancing, singing and comedy was so much fun and superbly done. Unfortunately the sadness of the times was chilling and with the current politics it left me feeling sad. I highly recommend it to all adults!"

Adam Lambert is the man! 🥰
"The whole cast was fabulous and the whole production was incredible! I went to see Adam Lambert and I was not disappointed! He was fabulous and I hope he does more on broadway "

Brilliant and suitably heart-rendering
"Wonderful cast and crew. I appreciated the sensitivity with which the characters portrayed the rising antisemitism, homophobia and facism of the time, especially in the 2nd half. Brilliant voices and staging. The only thing that was difficult was accessibility, as I couldn't find a lift (elevator) and the stairs and crowded seats were awkward if you have mobility issues."

ADAM!
"The constant entertainment was fabulous. Loved the diversity of the performers and watching their bodies move. I only have one ear so it's hard to catch some of the dialog with the accents. But since I saw the movie and have read a lot about Cabaret, I don't think I missed anything. We sat a table that was on the side. I liked that no one was in front or in back of us and we were next to one of the places the cast came in and out of. VERY up close and personal. But the chairs are bolted to the floor. I can understand why but if you aren't in the front row I imagine it would feel claustrophobic. And there's Adam Lambert. We had tickets to come before Christmas and he cancelled. Luckily, we got a refund. So this time it was me and a friend who flew to NYC for one day. If you've seen Adam in 1000 performances, you still need to experience him in THIS. I swear he could do the show with just his hands. And I won't even start on his costumes and his VOICE. #Otherworldy."

Cabaret Feels
"I was bummed when I heard Adam Lambert wasn't performing, but my troubles soon slipped away as we entered the world of the Kit Kat Club! The preshow entertainment was mesmerizing and the vibe was so different than a typical show. From the moment Marty Lauter took the stage as the emcee, I was sold. Auli'i Cravalho was great as the slightly annoying character Sally Bowles. Great voice throughout but she killed her last number Cabaret! I was thrilled to see a true legend Bebe Neuwirth as Fraulein Schneider and loved every scene she was in. Calvin Leon Smith was solid as Clifford Bradshaw and was so gracious signing playbills later outside the Stage Door. Overall a wonderful and haunting experience! "

A fantastic reinterpretation
"The experience starts the moment you enter the theatre and you are in the Kit Kat Club. I was amazed at the transformation of the theatre space. The performances were all great. Even if you’ve seen Cabaret many times this will feel like a new experience."

Awesome Show!
"Having seen the movie, been a fan of the score, and having read Isherwood’s book, I was expecting a lot. I was not disappointed! The entire production from entering Stage Door 2 to the incredible production was simply awesome. One of the best shows on Broadway I’ve seen!"

Star Power
"Exhilarating performances will move you in this revival that explores prewar Berlin with issues that unfortunately resonate today. The entire theater is transformed into a club. Must see! Adam Lambert is spectacular. "

Talent on overdrive
"The pre-show and staging were phenomenal. The acting, singing and choreography were amazing. There were a bunch of impolite gestures regarding sex acts which makes this inappropriate for younger people and those who are more proper."

Life is a Cabaret
"This is my 2nd time watching Cabaret and it was just as amazing and exciting as the first time. The first time I attended was in August and I was in awe of the performance. Eddie Redmayne was SPECTACULAR as the Emcee. The ambiance and set up of the theater was as if I was being transported to the Kit Kat Club. I thought it would be a great birthday gift for my son so I gifted him tickets to attend and I went along for the 2nd time and it did not disappoint. The performance of Adam Lambert as the Emcee was just as great as Eddie Redmayne - different but equally SPECTACULAR! Auli’i Cravalho’s interpretation of Sally Bowles was out of the park. Such a strong personality and powerful voice. She was amazing. I would definitely go a 3rd and 4th time. Afterall, life is a cabaret and we must enjoy it!"

A little bit naughty
"Adam Lambert was amazing. I think this role has been waiting for him! It was a little naughty in the first act (I didn't mind too much) so I wouldn't recommend this for kids. Loved the play and would see it again if it came to Chicago!"

A classic reimagined
"The staging of this play was extraordinary. Although the performance we saw featured understudies in the two key roles, the quality of the show thrilled us and the rest of the audience."

What an Experience
"My husband and I loved the show. Adam Lambert was made for this role!! We had a table seat, with charcuterie board, and felt just like we were at the Kit Kat Club! We loved the dark tunnel effect walking in and felt like we were in the cabarets of old. Would recommend."

A must see
"The show was one of the most creative and ‘ out of the box’ shows that I’ve seen. Choreography, costuming superb. Many different levels to the storyline and they did a great job of interweaving them. Sat on the first row mezzanine which were great seats. The pre show entertainment was great but crowded and a bit claustrophobic. Go to the other side of the stage for better viewing unless you get there early. "

Come to the Cabaret!
"A fun experience wrapped around a serious subject. Excellent production, cast and musicians. The staging involved the audience from the pre-show to the finale. A wonderful experience and Broadway debut performances by Adam Lambert and Auli’l Cravalho were excellent. Don’t miss these stars on Broadway. "

Wow!
"Adam Lambert did an amazing job. The show was a raunchy, funny, and emotional rollercoaster ride. Visually stunning as well. Anyone with a heart should see this. The score isn't my favorite musical score, but the story is an absolute must see."

Amazing show!
"First of all, I love the musical Cabaret. I saw it on Broadway about 20 years ago. This revival did not disappoint. The contrast between life inside and outside the Kit Kat Club was well done. Costumes and choreography were great. I would definitely see it again. "

So Memorable
"I really did not remember much of the story as I never saw it on Broadway before and could not remember seeing the movie. The cast was amazing and the story very poignant. I was very excited to see Eddie Redmayne and he did not disappoint. I may go again to see the show when Adam Lambert joins as he is one of the most talented entertainers around. While I knew that Gayle Rankin was not going to be in the performance I did not at all feel cheated as Gabi Campo was so amazing! "

Wildly entertaining.
"The moment you step into the theater, it immediately transports you back in time as if you're standing/sitting in a Berlin nightclub. As an audience member, you become part of the show. Amazing talent and costumes. The sound and lights were excellent too. Highly recommend this show. "
