"I really enjoyed the songs, orchestra, the dancing and interacting with the audience throughout the performance! It was phenomenal, definitely not for children under 10 years old as there is cursing and seductive dancing. Overall a 9/10 show!!"

"The cast was very good and the songs are absolutely fantastic but it feels like it needs some updated costumes and sets. I was really surprised that most of the costumes were just black mesh. Looked more 1970’s than 20’s which I would appreciate if it seemed intentional not just cheap. It was still very fun just distracting "

"Chicago, starring Alyssa Milano as Roxie, was a fun experience! I think the problem I had with it was just that I have watched the movie so much because it’s one of my favorites, so I constantly compared the actors onstage with the movie, which made it a bit underwhelming. Alyssa was best when she got to show her funny side, and the other actors and dancers were absolutely flawless in their performances. If I had seen this before seeing the movie, I probably would have rated it higher, so if you haven’t seen the movie, go for it and watch this fun show!"

"I enjoyed the "coziness" of the venue; it's not so large you feel lost and the seats offer good viewing. The performance, while good, didn't grab me like other plays/musicals I've attended. I don't have any complaints about the performance or performers, just a personal opinion based on my experiences. There is better ticket pricing mid week."

"Chicago was very good, but a bit underwhelming compared to the heart-filling passion of Hamilton, Les Miserables or Hadestown. Some of the performers looked a bit bored. It was still an honor to see a Broadway classic. "

"Love the film, but thought the stage performance lacked speed and snappy excitement/ suspense. Some of the crew clearly had a lot of dance talent and tricks and the choreography could make use of this.
Songs also seemed slow on tempo.
We felt the relationship between Roxie and Velma could have been stronger and sharper on stage, and again the choreography should be sharpened.
It was ok, but the time in which is set could be utilised in style so much more. Costume for Mamma, particularly."

"The show was top notch with fabulous casting/production. Disappointed that the stage was so small, and honestly think the cast was restricted by it. Ushers were warm and welcoming but totally frustrated with the number of people allowed to be seated well into the production. Sorry but if someone is late then they should wait until the intermission. On six separate occasions we were expected to move to the aisle for others, and those behind us were not having it glaring at us when we were the ones being inconvenienced. Fix this policy please. The cast was brilliant, and so engaging. It's really the management of the venue and their policies that were problematic. This experience would likely deter us from a future performance at this theater but the overall production was phenomenal. "

"There was just a complete lack of effort to make this a true Broadway experience. Where to begin? The set: what set? The band was on stage and was the biggest part of the set. It just seemed so lazy to not have a set design. Costumes? Ditto. The actors remained in the same costumes even as scenes/locations etc changed. Production. At one point several actors are just sitting on stools on the side of stage. Another point where there were 7 chairs placed for the jury, only one actor sat in the jury box. The entire production seemed like regional theater or even high school theater where they ran out of money for sets and costumes. On the upside, the music was great. But of course the music is the best part. Nothing shocking there. The performers have quality singing performances. The lead, Alysa Milano? She was ok. But surprisingly, she was outperformed by the actresses who played Velma and Mamma. I have never left a Broadway show and felt so underwhelmed and disappointed. I was so looking forward to this show and was actually bored. Where was the “razzle dazzle?” The production was mailed in. I cannot recommend this show at all. I am sad to say all this, but it is what it is….."

"I have seen Chicago 3 times now. Seen it about 15 years ago, 2 years ago and this past weekend. My daughter and I were disappointed on how much they changed it from 2 years ago. Not as much dancing and the lead role of Roxie was played by a reality show host and she was not near as good in the form of vocals or acting the part. It seemed more like a play rather than the old classic Chicago musical. I hate to be critical as there is so much work that goes into these productions but I feel they have changed the format for the worse not better. We went and seen Hells Kitchen and The Great Gatsby this past weekend also and they were amazing! So much action with dancing and beyond amazing vocals in the songs and the acting by the artists was flawless. I would recommend those Broadway shows over Chicago hands down. "

"Aside from there being absolutely no set design except for the orchestra dominating most of the stage, and no costume changes except for maybe some shoes it was okay. The performances were typical of what we would expect from a Broadway cast. Overall the show was disappointing in that some simple costume changes and set design would have made it more appealing."

"I have never been so disappointed in an extremely expensive production. This was my first time seeing Chicago (have never seen the movie or read the play) and the story was extremely hard to follow. There is no set or costume changes and very minimal dialog so it was not clear what was happening. We left at intermission. Save yourself the money. The performers themselves are very talented but this particular production was a letdown. "
