Left on Tenth is a true story about love, hope, and the wonder of second chances. When she least expects it, Delia Ephron, best-selling novelist and screenwriter of You've Got Mail, makes a surprising connection with a man from her past and falls into her own romantic comedy. As their immediate spark blossoms into a love story that seems to defy all odds, Delia’s life takes an unexpected turn. Left on Tenth tells the messy, beautiful truth about getting older while feeling young, as it celebrates two people with the courage to rewrite their futures and open their hearts again.
"I really enjoyed this performance… I laughed, I cried, I so related to this character and the heartache and fear following such life changes. At times I thought the character of Peter was a bit over the top, but maybe it made him even more endearing.

"The cast of this show was spectacular. I’ve always loved Peter Gallagher and Julianna Margulies and they did NOT disappoint. The supporting cast (who played multiple parts) were fabulous! I promise that you will laugh and you will cry. But, you will be glad you had the opportunity to witness this wonderful story and this amazing, talented ensemble.

"I read Delia Ephron’s memoir, Left on Tenth and found it to be a remarkably candid, heartfelt, sad, hopeful, funny and above all authentic book. The stage adaptation blew me away!! Julianna Margulies stepped into the role of Delia with extraordinary passion. She didn’t just act a part, but rather immersed herself into Delia’s psyche. Peter Gallagher was equally charming and charismatic as Peter.
The sets, lighting, music, and costume changes were carried out with relative ease and finesse. A 90 minute, uninterrupted show that I did not want to end!!.
I would be remiss if I didn't include the ‘featured actors’ Peter Francis James and Kate Maccluggage. Challenging roles as they both played a number of different characters in the play with multiple wardrobe changes throughout. Again, beautiful acting.
Delia and Peter’s love story shows the audience what joy can come out of taking that second chance.
Bravo! "

"The show was simply a delight. A romance with complications that led to a happy end. The actors fully inhabited their roles and had me feel their joy and despair, and make me laugh out loud and brought me to tears. I appreciated the happy end."

"I read the book a while ago- and the show is based on the book which is a true story about something amazing that happened to Delia. The show was adorable and cheeky is that very “Ephron” way, and I thought they did a great job capturing the essence of the book in the screenplay. Julianna Margulies and Peter Gallagher are PERFECT!!! "

"My husband loved it. I thought it was pretty good. The first part is excellent. The hospital scenes were good but went on too long. The two other actors were incredible with all their roles. MM was excellent and PG was good but a bit tired/old school (which may have been the point?)!!"

"The 4-person cast was absolutely wonderful. I've been a fan of Julianna Margulies since ER, but who knew she could be funny? Peter Gallagher was utterly charming and the other two actors handled their multiple costume and personna changes so brilliantly, they nearly stole the show. The hospital scenes were a little drawn out, but all in all, I stayed engaged throughout the one act play. Of particular note, the staging and lighting were absolutely brilliant! "

"We thought the acting and staging were great, the main and supporting actors.
We’re fans of Julianna and Peter and they did not disappoint.
The play turned very maudlin with the later health scenes. We felt that they were too drawn out and detracted, rather than added, from the play.
Staging was very creative and effective.
Enjoyed the breaking into singing and dancing, that added to our enjoyment,"

"I thought the play would be more pleasant but then again I did not read the book.
A little tired of plays with sickness both physical and mental and although the patient lived and the performances were good, this audience member wasn't uplifted even though our heroine survived"
