Delight to the Senses
"Loved the production and the wit. Great updated song choices that fit well with the story."

Awesome Energy & Stage w/ Some Minor Remarks
"The show was generally great - the stage design, music and actors all really brought the energy and the two protagonists were fantastic. We were a bit surprised with the first number that seemed a bit out of sync and tune and there were a few other songs and moments throughout the show that made us wonder if the actors were understudies or maybe not feeling their best. We went on Jan 2nd 2025. We would still recommend the show though - it's a classic and a fun show to watch!"

Always love broadway.
"We were extremely excited to see this Broadway production as we were at the Moulin Rouge in Paris this summer. Music was fantastic dancing wonderful enjoyed very much. Story line was interesting but fell flat at the end. This is a minor criticism as overall we thoroughly enjoyed a spectacular show and evening. "

Table Seating
"Got the table seating this time, however it was the opposite of a luxury experience, so don’t spend the extra cost of these tickets expecting to have a better view or space. Also, not a good choice for someone needing oversized (big or tall people) seating or breathing issues (stage fog machines roll directly into seating area) cat walk and set design limits viewing . However, this being the sixth time of seeing the show, the high octane choreography and staging never disappoints thanks to Sonya! "

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
"Costumes , choreography and sets were outstanding. Cast was ok but not outstanding. Music was far different and not as good as the movie. "

Female lead fell short
"The show was visually stunning and musically captivating with incredible performances from most of the cast. The male lead was outstanding, carrying the entire production with his rare skill, beautiful voice, and unforgettable emotional depth. Unfortunately, the female lead fell far short of expectations. Her portrayal of Satine felt mismatched—her presence was too overpowering, her voice too loud, and her chemistry with the male lead nonexistent. This miscasting undermined the delicate balance of the romantic tragedy we hoped to experience. Broadway shows like Moulin Rouge are meant to transport audiences to a world of fantasy and beauty — a dream-like escape from the everyday. Instead, this performance felt like an uncomfortable clash with reality. While parts of the production were breathtaking, the lack of harmony in the leads left us disappointed. Sadly, it’s not a show I would recommend based on this casting."

It was ok.
"The musical was ok. I liked the first half a lot. The plot and energy were better. The second half was less enjoyable. Overall a nice experience. "

Musically entertaining!
"Music as very good, the sound, however, was not. Lots of distortion, low volume on a few singers, and-or their voices were strained and tired. Always a good time with such a classic, but perhaps in need of improvement of the little things, and maybe a refresh of performers, who at times seemed uninspired "

A let down
"I love musicals and I love the movie Moulin Rouge. So maybe I had too high expectations going in to this, but the performance left me cold. The scenography is mesmerazing, the imput of modern elements witty but the overall effect just fell flat for me."
