A great play for Stranger Things fans

"I attended the performance with my 12-year-old daughter, an absolute Stranger Things fan. I recommend seeing the documentary on "Stranger Things - The first shadow" on Netflix before going to see the play to avoid any unnecessary disappointment. The actors were fabulous and the special effects brilliant for a one-stage play. Thank you to all the special effects and staging artists and craftspeople for their high-quality work!"

"Lots of special effects! Actors are in perfect shape! It is not really a musical, so I felt it eas very easy to understand the entire plot (with music sometimes it is hard). It was the best experience I had on Broadway for a long time. I felt fear in many scenes, so I really don’t think you should take children to watch this play."

"Its a fresh take on broadway shows and live entertainment. Multi-talented actors and actresses to be able to act, sing, dance and perform stunts in a live performance. The stage setting, props and special effects were really to anticipate for, the story stays true to stanger things lore, with some audience interaction/participation. This show in New York is not to be missed. Marquis theater did well to open up and seat the audience early, there’s merch and drinks available however not much a fan of the snacks. Ushers were professional. Was sitting way up on the R mezz and still a good view and comfortable enough til intermission."

A must for Stranger Things fans

"My family including two older teens went to a 7pm session of Stranger Things on Broadway. By the end I forgot I was watching Theater. The sets were unbelievable, the actors were wonderful and linked directly back to the TV series. I would not recommend to young children or young teens that scare easily as there were adult themes, violence and jump scares. As Stranger Things fans, this show was a welcome storyline that helped explain some of the characters stories further prior to the final TV season. This show does the story proud! "

"It was incredible, the set was amazing, the actors put so much energy into this show it was infectious! So thankful my 10 year old son who’s a huge S.T. fan and I went! I wouldn’t take a kid much younger than that though. We’d go and even see it again because it was so fabulous!"
