"There were a group of 7 women who came from PA to see the play. One of our waiters where we were eating before the play said he had seen it twice and wanted to see it again. A great beginning. We thought this would be a good play, but immediately were drawn in and loved it. In fact, we all expressed we wanted to see it again. Although the lead was the understudy, one would have never known it. She, along with the rest of the all female cast, was fabulous! We learned new info about the history of the suffragette movement. YES! Well worth seeing again."

"Nearly all Broadway shows are incredible visually and musically, but they don't help us examine important social and political topics, so ultimately they are just fun distractions. Suffs has all the incredible spectacle of these shows, but is also a wonderful examination of the history, politics, and strategy of progressive causes. It is ostensibly about the fight for women's right to vote, but it intentionally but subtly projects onto more modern fights for equal rights. It doesn't just say, "injustice and patriarchy are bad," but rather shines a lens on the banality of bureaucracy that prevents progress, makes us think about the struggle between revolutionary vs evolutionary approaches, and so much more. Suffs is the rare Broadway show that leaves you not only singing the tunes afterwards, but talking and thinking about its topics for weeks afterwards."

"I attended the show with low expectations and was blown away. The history lesson about what had happened a century ago was enlightening but was also highly timely given the political climate in the country today.
The actors were uniformly exceptional. The voices and dancing were outstanding. It was easy to understand the words and follow the story.
If you are looking for a fresh, timely musical I highly recommend that you go see Suffs!!!"
