"The Tony Awards were not wrong in their choice for naming this last year's Best Broadway Musical of the 2024 Season! We took our teen daughter, whom in 6th and again in 7th grade read, "The Outsiders" in academic classes. She was familiar with the story and characters, but was given a new outlook to the story based on the direction of this show. VERY STIRRING STORY
"I never saw the movie but the buzz on the street about the show peaked my curiosity. My nieces had seen the movie and loved it. It was amazing. So deep and thoughtful. The songs were perfect for every aspect of the show. The voices were stunning and the harmonies were out of this world. The audience ranged from 18 to 75. "In the 20 plus years of attending at least 3 shows annually The Outsiders would rank in the top 5 shows we have seen. The acting and casting was first rate and Soda’s vocals were beautiful and powerful. While there is a West Side Story feel - the setting and undertones are unique and the characters bring the conflict of 1967 Tulsa to life.
