"This was such a unique take on The Wiz, adding slightly more familiar elements from the original Wizard of Oz while also maintaining the fun and wonder of The Wiz film.
The Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion were so much fun and the voice of Dorothy is out of this world!!! Minimal set but amazing costumes, backdrops, and choreography. Bravo to the cast, 10/10 would recommend.
There were a handful of minor plot-holes that could be fixed with some small adjustments - general life lesson; at no point, real life or broadway, should anyone warn about an impending natural disaster then break into song and talk about feelings.
Otherwise, phenomenal cast and would highly recommend!!! "

"I truly enjoyed my experience. I went to the show with my A-Team ranging from ages 8-23. It was AMAZING. With what appeared to be an all black cast of actors, highly talented, singing, dancing, scatting, etc. It was a great mix of the classic movie and current terms and expressions of today. My daughter's and cousin LOVED it and requested to go back to see another Broadway show soon. Hopefully, it can shine a light up what we worker's m witnessed during the performance... STANDING OVATION AT THE END, which was well deserved. GO SEE IT! "
