How she finds them is a New York City coming-of-age story you've never felt before – Hell's Kitchen, a new musical from 16-time Grammy® Award winner Alicia Keys, whose songs and experiences growing up in NY inspire a story made for Broadway. The “powerhouse cast” (Variety) is led by Shoshana Bean, Brandon Victor Dixon, Kecia Lewis, Chris Lee, and Maleah Joi Moon.
Hell's Kitchen is directed by four-time Tony Award® nominee Michael Greif, with choreography by Tony Award nominee Camille A. Brown, a book by Pulitzer Prize finalist and Tony Award nominee Kristoffer Diaz – and the music of Keys, featuring new songs and her greatest hits.

"Everything about the show was terrific. The plot was not particularly surprising, but that really didn't matter. The music was quite listenable, the performances superb, especiallyMiss Liza Jane. The story was moving where it needed to be moving, the staging fantastic, and everything was executed beautifully. The only thing that I could criticize is that even in the back, it was frequently too loud. I can't imagine what it would've been like for people much closer than we were. "I liked the story. Even I didnt grow up anywhere near Hell’s Kitchen the turmoil you feel at 17 is very similar.
The main actress just has that verve & bouncy vibrance and knows her character.
The story arc has some nice comedic moments and a very dramatic climax.
I found most all the characters to be memorable. The songs of Ms Alicia Keys are used well to move the story forward and fit into the emotions as well.
It pulls you right in from the first scene.
It had all the feels: anger frustration flirtation 1st love sadness grief laughter. I loved it. "
