About Hell's Kitchen

Welcome to Hell's Kitchen, Broadway’s hit musical from Alicia Keys – inspired by her life, her music, and her community.

Your journey begins with Ali, a 17-year-old girl full of fire, searching for freedom, passion, and her place in the world. Along the way, you'll meet the musical mentor who changes her life, her dynamic family, and the neighborhood that helps her grow. Relatable, raw, and refreshingly fun, it's a celebration of finding yourself, your purpose, and the people who lift you up.

More than watching a performance, this experience pulls you out of your seat and has you buzzing when you leave, wondering who to tell about it first. The music – a mix of Keys’ classics and new songs written exclusively for the show – is brought to life through exhilarating choreography. It’s a soundtrack of rebellion, life, and love that speaks to you no matter where you’re from, where you’ve been, or where you’re going.

You’re invited to feel the energy of this multi-award-winning musical. Come experience where dreams begin: Hell's Kitchen.

Not worth the money
"Didn’t care for the story line. Great dancing. For teenagers for sure. Great music. I should have bought a cheaper seat instead of a front row seat"

Could have been better!
"Performers were very good but the stage production could have been better as well as wardrobe!"

There are other shows I would recommend over this one
"Some good talent. Story line weak. "

Not happy
"We had a hard time understanding the lyrics to many of the songs and some of the dialog. We also felt that some of the dance routines did not flow. The music was nice. I guess the show just was not for us."

Not sure what I was expecting...
"I had heard rave reviews of this show, and I love Alicia Keys' music. But the story didn't flow well and the writing was very sophomoric/formulaic. It felt like the Broadway equivalent of a Madea movie. I did love the music and dancing! "

Don’t believe the hype
"I liked five of the song versions. I didn’t find the flow of the music and storyline line. I loved the voice of the bubbly friend of A. Keys she was extremely talented. I didn’t like the negative reflection of the father even if it’s true. The first half was better than the second half and it was too long. "

Great music less than adequate dancing
"We enjoyed the music , staging and singing. Dancing was average at best and too much gratuitous of vulgar language. Broadway shows should be better than this."

Hell’s Kitchen was so so
"I had higher hopes but was disappointed. It was okay but I expected better. "

Lacked uniqueness
"It didn't show anything really important about her life other than what is common to other teens her age."
