"The triple threat talent (dancing, acting and singing) was extraordinary - the best of the best! On top of the technical execution was the energy the performers and orchestra brought to the audience. The whole production successfully gave us a deeper insight into a critical and currently relevant part of American history through this edge of your seat and toe tapping performance."

"I learned a lot about the legendary Louis Armstrong - his music, life, habits, wives, movies, troubles, and successes. The main actor was so talented, singing, playing the instruments, and acting the part in a way as if he were Louis himself. I really felt I was in the presence of Louis Armstrong himself. Amazing! And all the cast were perfect in supporting the story. I loved them all. Great musical! "

"From the moment the curtain rose and the first soulful note introduced Louis Armstrong to the stage, "A Wonderful World" captivated me with its brilliance. The actor portraying Armstrong not only embodied his larger-than-life persona but delivered a vocal performance that felt like Armstrong himself was singing through him. It was as though we were transported back in time, witnessing the genius of Satchmo in all his glory.
The music was a vibrant celebration of Armstrong's life and legacy, seamlessly blending his iconic hits with original compositions that captured the spirit of his era. Each song was a journey—sometimes joyous and lighthearted, other times deeply poignant, reflecting the trials and triumphs of Armstrong's remarkable life.
Whether you're a lifelong Louis Armstrong fan or new to his story, "A Wonderful World" is a must-see. The talent, music, and heartfelt storytelling make this Broadway production a standing ovation-worthy experience. It’s a reminder of why Armstrong remains a symbol of resilience, joy, and artistry. "We knew the story and music of Louis Armstrong going in so really appreciated the historical accuracy. The emotions evoked were shockingly powerful and the acting just incredible. All characters knocked it out of the park and we left singing and dancing. Thank you. The absolute best of the five shows we saw on our trip to Broadway!"

"“A Wonderful World” is not just a musical: it is an emotional experience that touches the soul, celebrating the extraordinary life of one of the greatest artists of the 20th century, Louis Armstrong. This show masterfully combines Armstrong’s musical genius with an intense theatrical narrative, offering the audience a moving and authentic portrayal of the legendary trumpeter and jazz singer.
The staging is a triumph of creativity. The brilliant direction blends seamlessly with elegant choreography and immersive scenography, transporting the audience to the iconic places of Armstrong’s life: the streets of New Orleans, the smoky clubs of Chicago, and the international stages where he became a legend.
The soundtrack is the beating heart of the show. One surprising aspect of the production is its ability to go beyond the music to explore the complexities of Louis Armstrong the man: from his humble beginnings and struggles with systemic racism to his personal relationships and the legacy he left to the world. The musical does not shy away from the shadows of his life, making the story all the more human and universal.
“A Wonderful World” is a vibrant celebration, a love letter to jazz and to a man who transformed music with his talent and his smile.
An unforgettable experience that will leave you wanting to applaud until the very last note!"

"The singing, and dancing was excellent. Sets and costumes were great. Louis and. his 4 wives gave a sensitive and true depiction of the difficult life as a black American (even with immense talent and personality) in 1920's-70s America. We laughed and cried at the story and his approach to life!
A must see! "

"It's a Wonderful World is an exceptional new addition to Broadway. The music is timeless. Louie Armstrong's story is captivating and well told. The choreography is so entertaining and so much fun!! The costumes and sets are visual feasts. When you top this all off with the incredible voices and performances of the ridiculously talented cast... YOU'VE GOT A HIT!!!!
One note to parents...Armstrong's story is a little spicy. So even though the singing and dancing would entertain them, I wouldn't recommend for kiddies under 13.
I highly recommend this show to anyone that has ever tapped their toe to a Louie Armstrong song. "Hello Dolly", "When the Saints Go Marching In", and "It's a Wonderful World" to name a few. I suggest you enter the theater with high expectations. I promise, you will not be disappointed!"

we were in NYC for the Marathon and, having a great passion for music, could not loose such an experience. Organization was perfect and all all all performers were so special and high professional.
