Oh, Mary! follows the miserable, suffocated Mary Todd Lincoln in the weeks leading up to Abraham Lincoln’s assassination. Unrequited yearning, alcoholism and suppressed desires abound in this one act play that finally examines the forgotten life and dreams of Mrs. Lincoln through the lens of an idiot
"What to like…every bit of it.
Not to like…NOTHING. Laughed the whole time. All characters were great Especially Cole. Genius. "

"A clever production that lives up to its hype. Excellent cast. Escole is a queer Carol Burnett who knows what camp is! Hilarious, smart, amazing!"

"Cole was obviously the star of the show and performed phenomenally but Conrad Ricamora was BEYOND wonderful. All the performances were spot-on and delightful. No notes. "

"This show was hilarious from the pre-curtain announcements to the final words. I didn’t stop laughing the whole way through. And I don’t mean chuckling or smiling. I mean laughing. Incredibly clever humor throughout. And the acting was amazing, bringing out the humor every step of the way. "

"Number 1, even after reading a little about the play, it was a surprise. A pleasant one! Very funny and the cast was amazing. Definitely recommend this show but be warned it is a bit “irreverent”."

"I loved this show so much that I had to call my sister to recount in detail every major plot point and joke in the entire show. she is so sick of me! The show was laugh out loud funny, and I loved the unconventional approach to history. History is in the eye of the beholder as they say! "

"The show is a raunchy comedy about a fictionalized Mary Todd Lincoln. Only a special person, Cole Escola, could write and then act that part. Nothing could have prepared me for the plot twists of the show. A fabulously hilarious bit of theater! "

"That I entirely forgot about the vertigo induced by my nosebleed seat in the balcony within 30 seconds of curtain up is a testament to the sheer hilarity and antic perfection that is "Oh, Mary!"
I laughed so hard my face still hurts days later, and I'm not remotely mad about it (or the jetlag).
Thank you to the entire company, crew, and staff for a magical experience.
